Wang Xiaofeng said that China's lithium resources are mainly concentrated in salt lakes in Qinghai and Xizang. Potassium is an important nutrient for the growth of crops, and its demand is closely related to food security. The key focus of the lithium industry's development is to enhance resource exploration and exploitation, improve separation and processing technologies, and expand downstream application markets. The key points of the potassium industry's development are to ensure domestic potassium fertilizer supply, optimize import and export work, and promote technological innovation in the potassium fertilizer industry. The Inorganic Salt Industry Association will continue to promote technological exchanges and cooperation in the domestic and international lithium and potassium industries, pool industry strength, and through the unremitting efforts of the entire industry, China's lithium and potassium extraction from salt lakes will surely stride forward on the path of sustainable development and lead the development direction of the world's lithium and potassium industries.

He stated that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Donghua Science & Technology will take the lithium and potassium sector as the most important business expansion direction in the "three new" business areas, and is committed to promoting the coordinated development of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. The company has successively undertaken multiple lithium carbonate projects such as the Zangge Lithium Industry Project in Golmud, Qinghai, the Zabuye project in Xizang, and the Huixin project in Qinghai. It has also taken on the largest potash fertilizer project in Africa - the potash fertilizer project in the Republic of the Congo, thus expanding its territory in the international market. Meanwhile, the company fully leverages its traditional phosphorus chemical advantages, focusing on the fields of phosphorus-based new energy materials such as iron phosphate, lithium hexafluorophosphate, and battery-grade ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, and actively conducts engineering practices.
