China National Chemical Tianchen Company signed the EPC general contracting contract for the soda ash project in Indonesia
On February 10th, it was learned from China National Chemical Tianchen Company that recently, China National Chemical Tianchen Company signed a general contracting contract for the soda ash project with Indonesia's Pupuk Kaltim Company. This project is a key national project of Indonesia. It is the first soda ash project in Indonesia and also the first time that the Hou's soda ash process (combined soda ash process), which originated from China, has been implemented in Indonesia.
It is reported that this project responds to multiple strategic plans of the Indonesian government, including increasing the output of compound fertilizers through by-product ammonium chloride to promote the plan of self-sufficiency in food and using carbon dioxide as raw material to help achieve the goal of a green economy with carbon reduction. It will drive the rapid development of the downstream industry of soda ash, boost the independence of Indonesia's chemical industry, and have a significant positive impact on Indonesia's economy, environment and society.
