The 2025 industrial energy conservation and carbon reduction diagnosis service work has been launched
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice to organize and carry out the 2025 industrial energy conservation and carbon reduction diagnosis service work.
This diagnostic service will focus on industries such as steel, ethylene, synthetic ammonia, calcium carbide, electrolytic aluminum, polysilicon, lithium batteries, cement, ceramics, flat glass, and electronic appliances, as well as information infrastructure such as data centers and communication base stations. It will organize energy conservation and carbon reduction service institutions to carry out public welfare energy conservation and carbon reduction diagnostic services for enterprises.
Energy conservation and carbon reduction service institutions should identify the shortcomings and weak points in aspects such as the production process flow, key product equipment, energy consumption structure and energy system optimization, energy management and carbon management system construction of enterprises. On this basis, suggestions for energy-saving and carbon-reduction transformation measures in terms of technology, equipment, management, etc. are put forward, providing replicable and easily scalable energy-saving and carbon-reduction system solutions for enterprises in different industries and at different development stages. Encourage energy conservation and carbon reduction service institutions to provide continuous follow-up services for enterprises that have received industrial energy conservation diagnosis services since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and promote the implementation of energy conservation renovation measures and suggestions. Encourage the calculation of product carbon footprint in accordance with the national standards, industry standards and recommended group standards related to product carbon footprint that have been released.
