The Shanghai Electronic Materials Association was established
On April 19th, the first meeting of the first member congress of the Shanghai Electronic Materials Association was held, marking the official establishment of the Shanghai Electronic Materials Association.
Xiao Guiyu, deputy secretary of the Party Group and vice chairperson of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Zhang Ying, director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Ruan Li, secretary of the Party Group and director of the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Management Committee, and Lu Jin, executive vice secretary-general of the China Electronic Materials Industry Association, attended and delivered speeches. Also present at the conference were Jin Xingming, vice chairperson of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People 's Political Consultative Conference, Ma Jing, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People' s Political Consultative Conference and director of the Population, Resources and Environment Construction Committee, 杲云, secretary of the Huangpu District committee, liu ping, district head of changning district, Zhang Hongtao, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, Zhai Jinguo, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, wu donglin, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Military-Civilian Integration Office, etc. More than 150 people attended the event, including representatives from leading enterprises in the industry such as Fu Wenbiao, the chairman of Hehui Optoelectronics, Liu Xunfeng, the chairman of SMIC, Qin Jian, the chairman of Hua Hong (Group), and Gu Lili, the chairman of Huayi Group, as well as leaders and guests such as Zhang Suxin, the president of the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Association, and Guan Weiyong, the president of the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, and representatives from member units and the media.
Xiao Guiyu pointed out in his speech that electronic materials are the cornerstone of the electronic information industry. The establishment of the Shanghai Electronic Materials Association is an active choice made by industry enterprises to adapt to industrial changes and enhance collaborative efforts. It is also an important practice to implement national strategies and serve the overall development of Shanghai. He emphasized that the association should fully play its role as a bridge and link, guiding member enterprises to focus on key areas, intensify technological research and development, and assist Shanghai in building a globally influential highland for the electronic materials industry.
In her speech, Zhang Ying emphasized the significance of the electronic materials industry and introduced the achievements and future plans of the electronic materials industry in Shanghai. She hopes that the association will fully leverage its industry, professional and platform advantages, build a bridge for exchanges and cooperation among universities, research institutions and enterprises, and jointly promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading in Shanghai's electronic materials industry.
In his speech, Ruan Li introduced the phased achievements made by the Shanghai Electronic Chemicals Zone in attracting leading enterprises to settle in, cultivating an independent innovation ecosystem, and building strategic warehouses. He stated that the Chemical Industry zone will continue to promote the transformation of industries towards refinement and high-end development, strengthen cooperation with the Yangtze River Delta region, and accelerate the upgrading and creation of a world-class chemical industry park that is innovation-driven, green and low-carbon, and highly efficient. We look forward to the association empowering the high-quality development of the chemical industry zone's industries, helping to enhance the international competitiveness of Shanghai's electronic materials industry, and jointly building a world-class electronic materials industry highland with international competitiveness.
Lu Jin, in her speech, extended warm congratulations on the convening of the conference and expressed her hope that the association could join hands with the China Electronic Materials Industry Association in strengthening strategic coordination, jointly building an innovative ecosystem, and optimizing the service system, so as to jointly promote the electronic materials industry to a higher level.
At the first meeting of the first council and the first meeting of the supervisory board held subsequently, the first leadership team of the association, consisting of Ma Jing, Jin Jian, Zhang Weiming, Zhou Jianhui, Huang Jun, Li Wei and Wang Jiancheng, was elected by secret ballot. Zhou Qiang was elected as the chairman of the supervisory board.
The convening of this conference not only provided a new communication platform for the electronic materials industry in Shanghai, but also pointed out the direction for the industry's development. Taking this conference as a starting point, the Electronic Materials Association will seize opportunities, bravely shoulder its mission, accurately position itself in serving the national strategy, demonstrate its capabilities in promoting industrial upgrading, and make greater contributions to Shanghai's accelerated construction of a socialist modern international metropolis with global influence and the high-quality development of China's electronic materials industry.
