The 5880KW rooftop distributed photovoltaic project of Qingyang Guangyuan has been successfully connected to the grid for power generation
On April 30th, it was learned from Jiangxi Guangyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. that the 5880kW rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project of Anhui Qingyang Guangyuan New Materials Co., LTD., which belongs to the company, has recently been successfully connected to the grid for power generation.
It is reported that the project adopts 610Wp high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules, with a total roof utilization area of 66,000 square meters and a total installed capacity of 5,880 kW. The project makes full use of the idle roof resources of the enterprise to build a high-efficiency solar photovoltaic power generation system. It adopts the grid-connected mode of "self-generation for self-use and surplus power to the grid", which will bring significant economic and environmental benefits to the enterprise.
Li Haibin, the chairman of Jiangxi Guangyuan Chemical, introduced that the successful grid connection of this project is an important measure for Qingyang Guangyuan to actively respond to the national "dual carbon" strategy and practice the concept of green and low-carbon development. It is also an effective practice of Qingyang Guangyuan in promoting the high-quality development of the group. The project is expected to generate 6.7 million KWh of electricity annually, which is equivalent to saving 1,958.25 tons of standard coal and reducing 4,880.95 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year. This has a very good demonstration significance for optimizing the local energy structure and promoting green and sustainable development.
Green and low-carbon development is an inevitable trend for the future growth of enterprises. The grid connection and power generation of Qingyang Company's photovoltaic project is another significant achievement of Guangyuan Chemical in green electricity usage following the photovoltaic project of Henan Nanzhao Company in 2023.
