Jinxi Petrochemical's signing of agreements with local authorities ignites the "Green Engine"
On May 6th, Jinxi Petrochemical Company signed a letter of intent for green transformation raw material guarantee cooperation with the government of Huludao City. It is expected that the company will purchase 1.1 million tons of biomass raw materials and 30,000 tons of waste plastic raw materials through the municipal government every year. This marks an important step forward for the company's green transformation and igniting a "green engine" for the sustainable development of the regional economy.
In recent years, Jinxi Petrochemical has implemented the requirements of China National Petroleum Corporation to build a demonstration benchmark enterprise for green transformation. It has keenly seized the best "window period" for green transformation in the next five years, selected technical experts to form a working team, and conducted research and technology comparisons in cutting-edge fields such as biofuels and biomanufacturing, and circular economy, fully promoting the implementation of green transformation work.
It is understood that the signing of this letter of intent for cooperation precisely aligns with the raw material demands of the bio-chemical and circular economy industrial chain planned and constructed by Jinxi Petrochemical, covering core elements such as raw material quantity, quality and price. The government of Huludao City will take the lead in coordinating relevant enterprises within its jurisdiction to build a raw material supply guarantee platform, opening a "green channel" for raw material supply to Jinxi Petrochemical, ensuring stable raw material supply, quality compliance, and all indicators meeting the project construction standards. In addition, both sides will jointly build a price stability mechanism to keep raw material prices within a reasonable range at all times, achieving win-win cooperation and common development.
In the future, Jinxi Petrochemical will continue to focus on the green transformation track, accelerate the compilation of feasibility study reports for projects such as hazardous waste disposal, waste plastic circular economy, precious metal recovery, and green methanol, and lead green development with scientific planning.
