The Tianye Huihe 100,000-ton/year oxalic acid project has been started up
At 15:49 on June 25th, the 100,000-ton oxalic acid project of Tianye Group Huihe New Materials Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianye Huihe") was started up and successfully produced industrial-grade oxalic acid products, with the product quality reaching the first-class product index. This marks a phased achievement of the "one head, multiple lines" circular development model of Tianye Group's coal chemical industry.

This project is based on Tianye Huihe's 600,000-ton coal-to-ethylene glycol production system per year. It uses the intermediate product dimethyl oxalate as raw material and adopts multiple coal chemical technology processes independently developed and practiced by Tianye Group as well as the advanced domestic three-stage continuous crystallization technology to hydrolyze part of the dimethyl oxalate in the intermediate link into industrial oxalic acid. The smooth start-up and production of this project, on the basis of extending and complementing the "one head and multiple lines" industrial chain of coal chemical industry, has effectively enhanced the regulation level of the overall production system and facilities, significantly reduced the impact of abnormal situations in downstream processes on the production system, and achieved a dynamic balance of production materials. Further tap the potential to enhance the efficiency of core units such as large-scale coal gasification, cryogenic separation, and DMO synthesis.
With the successful launch of oxalic acid products, Tianye Huihe's industrial chain and product structure have been further optimized and extended, and its sales market will be further expanded. Meanwhile, as the project converts some liquid products into solid ones, the subsequent logistics and transportation costs will be further reduced, effectively enhancing the company's operational risk resistance capacity.
In recent years, Tianye Group has formed a multi-production pattern of "one head and multiple lines" in the modern coal chemical industry, which is based on coal-to-syngas and expands the development of various new material products such as ethylene glycol and 1, 4-butanol. It has made positive contributions to the development of the industry.
