It will provide on-site guidance to key enterprises in the industrial chain, actively help enterprises sort out the demand projects for equipment renewal and transformation in the industrial field, and spare no effort to seize the second quarter and accelerate the equipment renewal in the industrial field.

The industrial sector is a major area for equipment renewal. In terms of advanced equipment renewal, Luoyang City will focus on promoting the industrial mother machine industry to update outdated and inefficient equipment such as machine tools that have been in service for more than 10 years, promoting the agricultural machinery industry to update production technologies and equipment such as flexible shearing, and promoting the petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries to update advanced equipment around the pilot verification and inspection and testing links.

Digital transformation is an important means to optimize the industrial structure and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. Luoyang City will accelerate the application and update of intelligent manufacturing equipment such as industrial robots, additive manufacturing equipment, sensing and detection equipment, speed up the in-depth application of artificial intelligence, 5G technology, etc., build smart factories and intelligent supply chains, and strengthen the large-scale deployment of new network infrastructure such as industrial Internet.

Accelerate the green transformation of equipment in industries such as steel, building materials, and non-ferrous metals, and promote the renewal and upgrading of key energy-consuming equipment such as boilers, motors, and transformers in various industrial fields... In terms of promoting green equipment, Luoyang City will further enhance the level of conservation and intensive utilization of industrial resources.

In addition, in terms of enhancing the intrinsic safety level, Luoyang will promote the safety renovation of old facilities in the petrochemical and chemical industries, improve the intrinsic safety level of the civil explosives industry, and intensify the promotion and application of safety equipment in key areas.

Promoting equipment renewal and technological transformation in the industrial sector is not only conducive to expanding effective investment but also helps increase the proportion of advanced production capacity. It is of great significance for our city to further advance new industrialization and promote high-quality development of the industrial economy. Wei Bin, the Party Secretary and Director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Luoyang City, introduced that the bureau has formed a working team to conduct policy promotion for key enterprises, industrial alliances (associations), and counties at different levels. Focusing on the five major industrial clusters and 17 industrial chains in Luoyang City, it has joined forces with relevant financial institutions to carry out a survey and research on the demand for equipment renewal and transformation by industry and field, and calculate the demand by category.

Up to now, more than 160 industrial projects with a total investment of over 20 million yuan have been collected, covering key areas such as high-end equipment, non-ferrous metals, new materials, and new energy. The total planned investment for the project is approximately 28.74 billion yuan, with an investment of over 10 billion yuan in 2024 and a loan demand exceeding 10 billion yuan.
