According to the Ministry of Emergency Management, the National Exchange and Promotion Conference on Safety Rectification and Improvement in Chemical Industrial Parks was held in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province from October 31 to November 1.
The meeting emphasized that the current safety rectification and improvement of chemical industrial parks has entered a critical stage. There are still weak links in aspects such as establishment and planning, project safety access, safety risk investigation, assessment and control, the role of professional regulatory forces, and information-based and intelligent safety control. It is necessary to recognize the situation, set clear goals, and take both demolition and establishment measures to accelerate the further improvement of safety production in chemical industrial parks.
The meeting demanded that we adhere to a problem-oriented approach, make efforts from "having to using" to "using to optimizing", and promote the high-quality rectification and improvement of the "Ten Haves and Two Prohibitions". Adhere to goal-oriented approaches, adopt multiple measures, and solidify responsibilities to promote the continuous reduction of safety risk levels in chemical industrial parks at a high level. Adhere to a result-oriented approach, effectively leverage the pivotal role of chemical industrial parks, attach equal importance to resolving existing risks and preventing new ones, and strictly control major safety risks to a high standard, ensuring high-quality development with high-level security. It is necessary to enhance the assessment and control of safety risks, and meticulously carry out safety production work at the end and beginning of the year.
At the meeting, the Emergency Management Department of Hebei Province and chemical industrial parks from Shandong, Hubei, Liaoning, Fujian, Zhejiang, Ningxia and other places made exchange speeches. During the period, the participants visited the Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone and relevant enterprises on the spot and conducted group discussions.
