The Xingfu Electronic Materials ultra-high-purity Electronic Chemicals Project has started construction
On July 31st, the groundbreaking ceremony for the "40,000-ton/year Ultra-High Purity Electronic Chemicals Project" of Shanghai Xingfu Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. was held in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park.
Ruan Li, the Party Secretary and Director of the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Management Committee, stated that the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park is making efforts to upgrade and build itself into a world-class chemical park that is innovation-driven, green and low-carbon, and highly efficient, aiming to become an important base for Shanghai's development of new quality productive forces. Since its establishment at the end of 2020, after more than three years of development and construction, the Shanghai Electronic Chemicals Zone has gathered a number of high-quality enterprises, various advanced technologies and many outstanding talents, demonstrating a good momentum of cluster development in the electronic chemicals industry. Xingfu Company has long been deeply engaged in the electronic chemicals industry, successfully developing and mass-producing a variety of functional wet electronic chemicals, and has become a stable supplier for many semiconductor enterprises at home and abroad. The successful commencement of this project not only represents Xingfu Company's recognition of the business environment in the park, but also serves as a testament to the close communication and collaboration between both sides, as well as their proactive efforts to overcome difficulties. Moreover, it is another achievement of the park's government-enterprise cooperation mechanism.
Ruan Li emphasized that Shanghai Chemical Industry Park will, as always, continue to optimize the business environment, care for and support Xingfu Company in advancing project construction with high standards and quality, strive for early completion and commissioning to achieve more breakthroughs, play a greater role in promoting the coordinated development of related industrial chains, provide stronger impetus for the development of the electronic chemicals zone, and offer more solid support for the development of the integrated circuit industry.
Li Shaoping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Xingfa Group and chairman of Xingfu Electronics, pointed out that with the full support of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, Xingfu Electronics settled in the park in September 2022, becoming the first industrial project built by Xingfa Group in Shanghai. Xingfu will optimize its industrial layout, accelerate its integration into first-tier cities, build with high standards and strict requirements, strive for early commissioning and effectiveness of projects, provide customers with better products and services, offer strategic support for the accelerated realization of the goal of "a thousand-billion-yuan Xingfa, world-class", and make new contributions to the economic and social development of Shanghai.
It is understood that Shanghai Xingfu Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. was established in September 2022 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hubei Xingfu Electronic Materials Co., LTD. It mainly engages in the research and development, production and sales of electronic chemicals. The company plans to build a 40,000-ton/year ultra-high-purity electronic chemicals project and an electronic chemicals R&D center project in Plot B5-5 of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, covering an area of 150 mu. Among them: The total investment of the 40,000-ton/year ultra-high-purity electronic chemicals project is 570 million yuan, with a planned construction period of 24 months. It mainly involves the construction of a 30,000-ton/year electronic-grade sulfuric acid plant and a 10,000-ton/year electronic-grade functional chemicals plant. After completion, it is expected to generate an annual sales revenue of 362 million yuan and a profit and tax of 100 million yuan. The total investment of the Electronic Chemicals R&D center project is 310 million yuan, with a planned construction period of 24 months. The main construction includes R&D factories, R&D buildings, R&D laboratories and pilot production lines. The R&D center is based in Shanghai, which is conducive to gathering high-end talents at home and abroad, improving comprehensive R&D capabilities and enhancing core competitiveness.
It is reported that the implementation of this project can support the development of the national chip industry, achieve the domestic substitution of electronic chemicals in the chip manufacturing process, and play an important role in maintaining the stable development of China's semiconductor industry and promoting the domestic substitution of high-end wet electronic chemicals.
