The high-end paraffin and lubricating oil industry transformation and upgrading project of Dongfang Petrochemical was officially signed
On April 14th, the 5th China International Consumer Goods Fair and the 2025 Hainan Free Trade Port Global Industry Investment Promotion Conference were held in Haikou. Cnooc Dongfang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hainan Province and the People's Government of Dongfang City, Hainan Province, as a key investment promotion project for the "High-End Paraffin and Lubricating Oil Industry Transformation and Upgrading Project".
The project plans to build 7 sets of facilities and their supporting public utility systems, tank farms and other related facilities. This project features a high level of technological maturity, flexible production plans, a rich product structure, and a high return on investment. After the project is put into operation, Dongfang Petrochemical can maximize the resource advantages of Marine paraffin-based crude oil, produce paraffin and lubricating oil characteristic products, truly become a new type of fine chemical enterprise with competitive advantages and differentiated characteristics, and become a demonstration enterprise for the production of characteristic oil products of CNOOC.
