The PTA plant renovation of Yizheng Chemical Fiber has increased efficiency by over ten million yuan
Recently, Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company carried out energy-saving renovations on the oxygen-enriched air compressor of the purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant, achieving the goal of saving steam and recovering the waste heat of steam for power generation. It can generate an additional 70,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per day on average.
Since the PTA plant was put into operation one year ago, Yizheng Chemical Fiber has fully tapped its potential and increased efficiency. By reducing the load on the steam turbine and introducing oxygen-rich air from outside, the surplus steam has been introduced into the waste heat power generation system for power generation, which has improved the operational efficiency and power generation of the plant, achieving the goals of energy conservation, emission reduction, cost reduction and expense reduction. After the renovation, the device generates electricity by utilizing waste heat. It is expected to produce over 25 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, generating an economic benefit of over 10 million yuan. The carbon dioxide emissions have also been significantly reduced, achieving both good economic and environmental benefits.
In the future, Yizheng Chemical Fiber will continue to intensify its efforts in scientific and technological innovation, actively explore new technologies and processes for energy conservation and emission reduction, and contribute to achieving the "dual carbon" goals.
