The 8th China International Pipeline Conference was held in Beijing
The 8th China International Pipeline Conference (CIPC) was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing from April 9th to 10th. The conference, with the theme of "Green, Intelligent, Integrated and Developing", has set up eight specialized forums, including energy pipeline transportation strategy and development, pipeline construction, materials and equipment, transportation and storage, safety and Maintenance, digitalization and intelligence, low-carbon and new energy, and Youth Forum. More than 3,500 conference delegates from 33 countries attended the conference. 187 academicians, industry experts and renowned scholars from home and abroad delivered keynote and special reports, jointly discussing cutting-edge technologies such as green pipeline construction, intelligent pipeline operation and maintenance, artificial intelligence and quantum technology, contributing wisdom and strength to the transformation and upgrading of the energy pipeline transportation industry.
Zhang Wei, Chairman and Party Secretary of the National Pipeline Network Group, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He pointed out that energy is an important material basis for human survival and a prerequisite for the development of human civilization. Pipelines have become the core infrastructure for global energy transportation, profoundly influencing and shaping the world's political and economic landscape. Against the backdrop of profound changes in the global energy landscape, energy security has transcended national boundaries. Only by uniting and collaborating, and moving forward hand in hand, can we find the only way to address risks and challenges.
The conference also set up an exhibition area for technical equipment and achievements at the same time, with nearly 500 enterprises from 16 countries and regions around the world participating.
Among them, the 1,422-millimeter super-large diameter natural gas pipeline internal detection equipment and the large-scale natural gas pipeline simulation system developed by the National Pipeline Network Group made their debut at the 8th China International Pipeline Conference (CIPC) and the Technology Equipment and Achievements Exhibition. The company's large-scale long-distance natural gas pipeline online simulation system has solved the technical problems that have restricted China's large-scale oil and gas pipelines, filled the gap of domestic pipeline simulation industrial products, ensured the security and independent control of energy data, provided core technical support for the construction of intelligent pipelines and energy transformation, and has been put into operation on 30,000 kilometers of natural gas pipelines. All core indicators have reached the advanced level of similar international products. The successful development of the internal detection equipment for 1422mm super-large diameter natural gas pipelines marks a new breakthrough in China's independent innovation capabilities in the key core technologies of energy pipelines. After pilot-scale tests, it has been verified that it can effectively identify the damage and stress state of the pipeline body, providing technical support for the integrity management of super-large diameter pipelines.
It is reported that the China International Pipeline Conference (CIPC) is an international academic exchange and industrial cooperation platform for the global oil and gas pipeline industry to deepen exchanges and cooperation, showcase innovative achievements, and jointly plan for the future development. It is held every two years and has been successfully held for seven sessions so far, playing an important role in promoting the progress of China's pipeline technology and enhancing its international influence.
