The construction plan for digital production lines of industrial coatings in Guangdong is accelerating its implementation
On April 9th, it was learned from the Guangdong Coatings and Inks Industry Association that the first working meeting of the Guangdong Coatings and Inks Industry Fine Chemicals and New Materials Digital Transformation Consortium in 2025 was recently held at Guangdong Zhenghe Engineering Co., LTD. The meeting focused on the in-depth implementation of the digital production line construction plan for industrial coatings and discussed the promotion path of the consortium across the country.

Wang Bing, deputy secretary-general of the Guangdong Coatings and Inks Industry Association, Li Changhuan, chairman of the Digital Transformation Industry Alliance and chairman of Zhenghe Engineering, Liu Haoliang, secretary-general of the alliance and general manager of Entrepreneur Software, as well as representatives from related enterprises of the consortium gathered together to discuss the major plans for the digital transformation of the industry.
Wang Bing delivered a speech, stating that the Digital Transformation Ecosystem Consortium of the Fine Chemicals and New Materials Industry actively aggregates ecological resources, deeply integrates products, and meticulously creates chain-based digital solutions. This innovative achievement has not only achieved remarkable results in Guangdong itself, but also for the first time ventured out of the province in the form of a digital alliance ecosystem consortium, taking an important step towards cross-regional development and jointly promoting the fine chemical industry to embark on a new journey of high-quality development.
Li Changhuan, the chairman of the Digital Industry Alliance of Guangdong Province's Coatings and Inks Industry and the chairman of Zhenghe Engineering, stated that digital transformation is the inevitable path for the high-quality development of the fine chemical and new materials industry. The consortium will integrate various resources to promote the intelligent and green upgrade of the industrial coatings field.
As the core topic of the meeting, the construction plan for the digital production line of industrial coatings became the focus of discussion. Liu Haoliang, the secretary-general of the alliance and the general manager of Entrepreneur Software, elaborated in detail on the technical architecture and implementation path of the digital production line. The solution covers key links such as intelligent production management, data-driven optimization, and supply chain collaboration, aiming to achieve intelligent control of the entire production process through industrial Internet, big data, and AI technologies.
Representatives of the participating enterprises, drawing on their own practical experience, engaged in in-depth exchanges on specific issues such as equipment interconnection, process optimization, and energy consumption management. Many enterprises have stated that the pilot application of digital production lines has achieved initial success, and the next step will be to promote the replication and popularization of standardized solutions.
The meeting also discussed the national promotion of the digital transformation consortium for fine chemicals and new materials. In the future, cooperation with local industry associations, research institutes and leading enterprises will be strengthened to create a cross-regional digital transformation ecosystem. Through benchmark case demonstrations, industry standard formulation and talent training system construction, the national implementation of the consortium model will be accelerated.
Wang Bing stated that this working conference has pointed out the direction for the digital transformation of the fine chemicals and new materials industry. The consortium will continue to play its platform role, promote technological innovation and industrial collaboration, and assist China's manufacturing industry in advancing towards intelligence and greenness.
It is reported that the Digital Industry Alliance of Guangdong Coatings Association is led by the Guangdong Coatings and Inks Industry Association, with benchmark enterprises as the backbone. It collaborates with universities, research institutes, industry associations, chemical engineering design institutes, digital service providers, and related equipment enterprises both within and outside the province. With the concepts of openness, sharing, and mutual benefit, it continuously promotes the deep integration of digital technology in Guangdong's coatings industry with the real economy. Build a digital enterprise alliance for the Guangdong coatings industry and establish a digital industrial cluster.
The alliance mainly focuses on key industrial clusters of new materials, explores the establishment of digital standards for the coatings industry, promotes the in-depth integration of digital technology with coatings research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, marketing, etc., and contributes to the high-quality development of the industry driven by digitalization. Since its establishment in July 2023, it has held a total of 12 large-scale digital transformation events, benefiting over 800 chemical enterprises and more than 1,300 people. It has cultivated one benchmark enterprise for digital transformation and received unanimous praise from the industry and the government.
In 2025, on the basis of the alliance platform, the "Digital Transformation Consortium for Fine Chemicals and New Materials" will be established. We will join forces more closely to provide integrated services for digital transformation and intelligent manufacturing for fine chemical and new material enterprises. And promote the Guangdong model to all regions across the country.
