China's first 50,000-ton class tension jack traction ship loading system has been successfully applied
On May 29th, it was learned from Offshore Oil Engineering Co., LTD. (referred to as "Offshore Oil Engineering") that recently, China's first 50,000-ton class tension jack traction loading system was applied for the first time in the loading process of the central processing platform of Kenli 10-2 Oilfield. The overall performance has reached the international advanced level, marking a key breakthrough in China's loading capacity of large-scale offshore oil and gas structures. It is of great significance for enhancing the manufacturing level of Marine oil and gas equipment and ensuring national energy security.

The Kenli 10-2 central processing platform loaded onto the ship this time has a designed weight of over 20,000 tons. It is the heaviest and largest offshore oil and gas platform in the Bohai Sea in terms of external dimensions. It adopts a 50,000-ton class tension jack towing loading system, with a towing distance of over 200 meters and an average loading speed of 25 meters per hour. Its efficiency is about 60% higher than that of similar foreign equipment.
According to Song Xiaoxiu, the person in charge of the tensioning jack towing system for loading ships at CNOOC Engineering, the 50,000-ton tensioning jack towing system for loading ships was independently developed by CNOOC Engineering in collaboration with Liuzhou Ouvem Machinery Co., LTD. It mainly includes 10 1,000-ton tensioning jacks, 4 1,000-ton booster jacks, a power station, a control system and fixed anchor points All key components have been localized, and the maximum towing weight can reach 50,000 tons. Compared with conventional loading equipment, it has achieved remarkable results in terms of operational safety performance, operation and maintenance efficiency, and energy conservation and consumption reduction, significantly enhancing the installation capacity of China's offshore oil and gas platforms.
Since the system was delivered, CNOOC Engineering has organized multiple no-load, full-load and overload tests, conducting comprehensive inspections on key equipment such as oil pipes, cables and control systems. Through measures such as iterative upgrades of the control system and the establishment of a multi-parameter real-time monitoring system, a "dual-redundant" network architecture of the monitoring room and the control room has been constructed, enhancing the stability of the data link. The reliability of system operation and the efficiency of job collaboration have been enhanced. In light of the characteristics of this shipment, the project has studied and formulated an emergency response plan for the equipment, carried out skills training for the operators, and effectively ensured the safe and efficient completion of the first shipment.
Over the past decade, CNOOC Engineering has completed the towing and loading of approximately 300 structures, among which 34 are 10,000-ton structures. It has independently mastered all types of loading technologies, including Marine structure hoisting and loading, SPMT (Self-propelled Modular Transport Vehicle) loading, lateral towing loading, and longitudinal towing loading. An independent technology system centered on a 1,000-ton tensile jack cluster, an intelligent hydraulic power station, a high-precision booster device, an integrated control system and an Internet of Things monitoring platform has been established. The loading capacity has achieved a leapfrog development from 17,000 tons to 50,000 tons, providing all-round technical support for the efficient construction of China's Marine oil and gas equipment.
